This initiative was created to encourage the youth in western Canada to begin a career in agriculture, specifically, a career in a farm equipment dealership. The Canada West Facebook group has several links that are pertinent to what a student exploring different careers is looking for. This group will be up-to-date on registration deadlines for Agricultural Technician programs at Olds College, SIAST, and Assiniboine Community College as well, there will be links available to AgCareers.com which is where many of our members jobs are posted.

This initiative has the potential to extend far past just students attending career fairs; it is available to ALL job seekers that are currently on Facebook. How can you as a equipment dealer help? Just spread the word about the group to anyone that is looking for more information on careers in farm equipment dealerships or information regarding an Agricultural Technician program.
