2010 Convention Highlights
The 69th Annual General Meeting and Convention took place at the
Hyatt Regency Hotel in Calgary, Alberta. This year's Convention
was attended by 275 participants. Sales and Sales Management was the
educational focus of this year's meeting. The Convention committee,
chaired by Peter Lacey, Cervus Equipment Corporation, planned an excellent program filled with
informative speakers and excellent entertainment.
Dealer principals,
Sales Managers and Sales Department Personnel spent sessions with a
Used Equipment Panel, Shawn Patenaude, Don Layh, Jim Facente, CSS
and Rob Park, JCC. These
presentations were very
thorough, insightful and useful.
The ladies program
was a shopping afternoon to Southcentre Mall and a dessert and wine
pairing class by the Cookbook Company, while
Brandt and AgriCard brought the Thursday evening entertainment -
car racing. Lanny McDonald spoke at the Friday Lunch and Herb Dixon wrapped up the convention as the Friday
evening banquet entertainment.
